This isn't for this week's topic, but I just want to know what everyone thinks. I'm not used to writing drabbles, and I thought I'd give it a try. So, uh, here we go:

Notes: This was inspired by "Lovebird," a song by John Entwistle. I was listening to it, and for some unknown reason, this popped into my head.



It wasn't really a surprise. He knew it would happen eventually. In the middle of the night, a soft kiss placed in sea-green hair, the gentle sound of a door closing. He'd awaken to an empty pillow, save for a few stray blonde hairs and a small piece of paper. In familiar handwriting…

So long. Thanks for the ride.

Zoro let out a quiet sigh as his gaze drifted out the window.

Fly away lovebird. You just learned to fly…

omg.......that's so kawaii!!! i'm just about ready to cry over here!!! it's amazing, i love it. but you know what.......i'd always think it that zoro would be the one to leave sanji......for some reason that's just how it seems tome, but i like it ^^ very nice.
