I'll be honest and say that I'm kind of disappointed by the lack of variation in pairings. Also, goji, I can't believe you didn't write for this topic of all things.

On the bright side, this topic managed to unearth another drabble-writer for the comm. Yay!

Oh yeah, winner announcement.

Although several of the drabbles were very emotionally moving, there was one that not only made an interesting analogy, but had a very unusual pairing to boot. The win goes to justira (former-drabble-virgin, now drabble-slut)'s Drowning. By the way, what time-zone do you live in justira?

I think people wrote Chaka/Pell because you seemed to suggest that it was what your sister wanted and they'd have a better chance of winning with it. *shrugs* Just a thought.

Indeed. If you "hint" about a certain arc/character/couple/whatever, people are going to write that.
I think another reason is that most if us have seen up to the Arabasta Arc, but not all of us are as familiar with later arcs featuring other zoan fruit users.

Yes, it's my own fault for putting that hint up. I take the blame for that. But the drabbles that were posted were still good, so I'm overall satisfied.

Sorry to everyone for being so negative in my posting. I have this bad tendency to focus on the small bad stuff and take the good for granted. I should really think before I post. Again, sorry.

I'm sorry for the lack of variety in pairings. I don't know about anyone else, but some kind of Chaka/Pell bug invaded my head this week, and I haven't caught up to where Lucci comes in. I thought about Dalton and Chopper, but I seemed to have a very Pell-centric thing going.

I'll post a topic sometime today, when I have less work that I should be doing.

Oh, and I'm in the West Coast time zone.
