Wooh. First week here, five drabbles, and a contest winner. I'm boggled. First of all, thanks to everyone here for welcoming me to the business of drabbling - you've been really wonderful, and you've really encouraged me to keep trying with this writing thing. I'm very, honestly grateful.

Now to the topic. I notice that generally OP pairings are between two people where both either do or do not have Devil Fruit abilities, and this makes sense, since it puts the two people on more equal footing. However, I think the other possibility, pairing a user with a non-user, bears some exploration.

So, the new topic is: Devil Fruit user/non-user. Anyone you like, any genre, and number of people involved.

Hope that's good enough.

What's the etiquette on posting drabbles if you're the judge that week, especially if they're on-topic? They wouldn't be valid contest entries anyway, but I was wondering about what's accepteable around here. I can always just wait to post until after I'm done judging =)

Ok, number of people involved... If someone want to write a threesome (or more), can it be two DF users and a non-user? Or should there be only one user?
BTW, my fave pairing, LuZo, involves a DF user and a non-user. ^_^

I'm not sure about the answer to your question... Mods? Others?

I don't think it's a rule, but most people don't write drabbles for the week that they're judging.

BTW, love the topic, I can have fun with my alternate pairings with this. ^__^

No rule against it, actually, a lot of us do it. ^_^ You won't be frowned upon or anything.

I like it when people post drabbles related to the topics they suggest. It's usually interesting to read what they might have had in mind about the topic. (Says the person who never did that.)

I think there's also the rule of 'under 300 words' somewhere...
