"I picked a fight with those bandits ..."

"Luffy ..."

"But I wasn't strong enough!"

"And you lost your arm!"

"I told you, it's just an arm! Losing it was a small price to pay for not losing a nakama."

"But ..."

"I will never lose a nakama, no matter what. Even if I die."

"Shanks ..."

"And we're good nakama, right?"

"..."

"..."

"... Shanks?"

"Yes, Luffy?"

"If we're good nakama, does that mean I get to come with you?"

"Hell, no! A little brat like you would only get in the way!"

"Stu-STUPID SHANKS!"

"Haha! Now that's the Luffy I know!"
