Argh, not happy with how this came out, might try again for this topic if I actually have the time to so with all the work I'm slammed with this week.
After months of not finding or just missing the Straw Hat Pirates, Smoker had finally gotten a lead that finally panned out. With his Marines chasing the other members of the crew and Tashigi chasing down the swordsman and cook, he was able to face the captain of the pirate crew alone. Smoker was certain he had the upper hand and that there was no way Luffy would escape him. That was until the young pirate captain misjudged his trajectory and instead of flinging himself past the Marine, flung himself onto the Marine. In the collision Luffy’s stretched arms tangled around Smoker, pinning the bigger man and their lips smashed together in an unwanted kiss.
Everything after that was a blur of memory that was clouded with the remembrance of the other’s lips on his own, which didn’t help at all when it came time to give his report on failing to capture the Straw Hat Pirates, again. Though as his superior ranted on and on over the Denden Moshi, he found it gave him something to think about.
