"Doesn't it have... rust problems?" That was the first thing Usopp thought of when he saw the strange device.

"Nah." Zoro shrugged, almost too casual as he gestured to the gleaming metal that covered his groin. "It's an anti-rust metal, and I keep it out of the water."

"Does it hurt?" Usopp's hand hesitated before touching the device, changing his mind and pulling the hand back to his side instead.

"Why would it? It's just to help training. Keeps your mind from wandering. Focuses your attention on what you're doing." Zoro drawled his explanation, hands on his hips over the attaching straps as though daring Usopp to suggest there was something odd about it.

"Okay." Usopp wasn't sure he bought that explanation, but this seemed like a wise time to choose flexibility in truth. If Zoro wanted to say it was to keep the alien beams from brainwashing his crotch, that was okay too. "So, um... why are you showing it to me?"

Zoro gave a tiger grin. "Do you happen to know that horndog cook's hip measurements by any chance, Mr. Handyman?"
