I'm not sure I could've got around to writing one anyway, now that I think about it. I still enjoy reading this group. but I'm into other stuff (mostly FMA), so writing OP fanfic isn't as big a deal anymore.
And, yeah, getting it back to Wednesday is cool. ^_^

Yeah, the topic was announced late, but I assumed it would've been better to stick with the routine, and that seemed to be thursday mornings these last couple of months.

I agree. The way I've seen it, the judge waits until midnight or slightly earlier (but generally late in the evening in whatever timezone she's in) on Wednesday night to give last-minute posters a chance, announces the winner, then the winner sees the announcement on Thursday morning and gives out the new topic.
