Heh heh...just a bit of fun. Hope you enjoy.

Title: Special Delivery

Rated: PG-13

Pairings: None...::halo::

Theme: Obsession

Words: 307. I know, slap my hand with a ruler...

Disclaimer: I should be so lucky...alas, they are not mine.

They had taken to watching the skies almost as often as Nami. Zoro was a study in subtlety; he perused the clouds from the corners of his eyes only as he trained. Usopp pretended he was cleaning smudges from his lenses, all the while squinting against the sun. Luffy…was Luffy. His idea of playing it cool was singing “Story day, happy holiday” quietly as he sat staring at the horizon.

Fortunately for them, the three partners in crime were able to intercept the delivery pelican and hurry off with the brown package before Nami, Chopper or Robin could notice. This was their secret obsession, and the others just wouldn’t understand. Sadly, our heroes made one mistake in their nefarious plans.

They forgot to include Sanji. The Love Chef was very surprised, therefore, when he went to grab some vegetables from below deck and overheard the sound of three men sighing happily in chorus. He paused, blinked, and stealthily made his way to the source of the noise.

“This issue’s story is an enticing little dish.” Usopp purred with his usual flair for the dramatic. “Uncle Johnny proudly presents: Cannibal Women and the Avocado Jungle Of Death.” This was followed with an exclamation of wonder from Luffy and a half-hearted call for silence from Zoro.

Sanji was frozen in place as Usopp began to read one of the trashiest adventure stories he’d ever had the misfortune to hear. He was torn between the outrage at the blatant abuse of food and the potent visions of lying prone on a slab while someone marinated him in…

The sound of heels on the wooden planks above him snapped him out of his reverie. He decided that he was going to make guacamole for lunch, just out of spite. That’ll teach them to cut him out of the action.

*Cannibal Women and the Avocado Jungle of Death is an actual film and therefore copy written intellectual property…although, how intellectual is a matter of debate.

*giggles* This was fun. (The fact that that's a real movie was a bonus. XD Who says there are no new stories?)
