Follows Franky and Iceburg's backstory as seen in the anime, except for one detail from chapter 358 of the manga.
He recalled that the tears of joy and relief had rolled freely down his cheeks when he watched the Puffing Tom make its maiden circuit. It would be the new start the inhabitants of the island had been praying for; the Puffing Tom would breathe life back into Water7.
The irony was that it would claim the lives in Iceburg's: Tom to Enes Lobby, Kokoro to the bottle and Tom's legacy, and Franky ...
Iceburg himself was now not only one of the pioneers of Water7's revival, but also its mayor. After everything that had happened, he had no compunction in giving his own life away for Water7's.
He just never thought that, in the countless circuits that the sea train made day after day, that one of them would bring him back into his life. In his office, he had faced the news with all the indifference he could muster, but it was a struggle to keep from running when he finally made his way to the outskirts of the city, to be able to see him again.
The truth was that Cutty Flam had changed, but the garish shirt, the swim trunks and the shock of electric blue hair ... he was still undeniably his -- Franky.
He had felt the tears of joy and relief roll freely down his cheeks before he could stop them; the Puffing Tom was the breath of life that Iceburg had always known it would be.
