Wow. It was hard to refrain from commenting during the week as the entries came in because I loved so many of them.

I did my best to narrow them down and ended up gnawing on the lip of my desk over these: mettathron's "The Custom of the Sea," aitherion's "Mystery Holes and Sexing Up," chibi_trillian's "Sea Spray," nike_victory's "Hidden Fear," and plotbunny_tiff's "Our Little Secret."

*headdesk* These were my favourites among many great drabbles, and they each had a great deal to recommend them, but the winner is mettathron's "The Custom of the Sea," because I think the prose sparkles.

It's all yours, mettathron!
