"It was during a heroic struggle with the deadly Eye-Gouging Killifish, protecting a beautiful princess trying to escape from the evil minions of her throne-ursurping uncle," Usopp said, slapping both hands over his left eye and staggering dramatically across the deck as if mortally wounded. "The gaping wound is his pledge to keep her secret, so now he can't show it to anyone..."
"AAAH! IT'S STILL A WOUND?!" Chopper gaped, eyes wide with alarm. "I NEED TO TREAT IT RIGHT AWAY!!"
Nami shook her head in a doleful way, shaking out her fist. "Idiot! It's just weak to sunlight so he keeps it covered." Usopp sulkily nursed the lump on his head, shooting Nami short, dire looks.
"Eh? Sanji's weak?" Luffy mumbled around a hunk of raw steak.
"THAT'S NOT WHAT I SAID!" Nami shouted. "Just his eye!"
"Ask Swordsman-san," Robin interjected.
"Ehhh? Zoro?" Luffy and Chopper said in unison, gazes swiveling to Zoro lying on the deck, arms folded behind his head.
He cracked one eye open to glare back at the lot of them, releasing an exasperated snort as the other males surrounded him in an expectant ring. Nami stood nearby, pretending not to care.
"Zorooooo...." Chopper pleaded, sparkly-eyed. "You know? Tell us!"
"Che... have the damn woman ask him."
"Nami?" The sparkly eyes swiveled back to the navigator. She shrugged, folded her arms over her chest and pouted. "He won't tell." Shocked disbelief raced through the surrounding faces before Chopper turned his devastating gaze back on Zoro, now wobbling with frustrated tears.
No one with an ounce of compassion could resist that look for long – Zoro had just enough to resist.
"Zorooo... pleeeease? Since you kiss him..."
He folded.
"Eh, it's just a different color," he snarled out, blushing slightly. "And the bastard says they don't color-coordinate..."
