This was inspired by my mistress of peppermint smut, or MOPS-sama for short. And yes, this is very popular here in Baltimore, in case you were curious.

“It’s a summertime treat they were selling in the marketplace. Let me show you how to eat it.”

“Ooooh, so that’s why you bought all those lemons!”

“Mmmhmm.” Sanji barely kept his grin in check as he neatly sliced the tops off of two lemons. Zoro sat in his usual brooding spot, actively pretending that he wasn’t watching with avid interest.

“First, you take the peppermint stick-DON’T EAT IT WHOLE!”

“Yum! That was good!”

“Idiot. Get another stick. Now, first you lick the tip, like this…good. Then you carefully stick it inside, but slowly or else it’ll squirt everywhere. If you twist it around a bit it slides in deeper. Next, you suck as hard as you can. The peppermint makes the juice sweet, see?”

Luffy practically danced as he slurped the poor fruit dry. Sanji watched Zoro watching the captain; between the blushing and the beads of sweat, Sanji was certain his subtle swordsman torture was a complete success.

“Now, after that, pull it out and suck on it ‘til it’s gone.” Sanji leisurely went back to enjoying his own treat while Luffy tried his hardest to lick the stripe off in one go. The chef was feeling supremely smug until-

“Hey, that looks good Luffy.”

“It is! Try one, Usopp!”

Aww. Damn.

It actually works best with the sticks. Since they're hollow inside, it makes a ghetto insta-mint lemonade with an edible straw. But if you only have the little candies, you can do a dip and lick. It still tastes good, but it can be rather messy. ^_^
