When he did that every dawn, he preferred to be alone. So that his composed trail of mind would perfectly match his fluid, precise movement. For his training was the time to synchronize the two elements. The only time he could have the rare chance of being alone. The rare serenity in that ship.

Because when no one else around, it was only him. He didn’t have to bother about what they think about him. About them criticizing him. About him being a public display.

But if it was that guy who watched him silently from the shady part of deck, with his trail of smoke as the only sign of existence, he really didn’t mind. He didn’t mind become his object of attention.

He always watched with a smirk, for he was the only one who knows what going on his mind. And he always lost his composure and his movement missed it preciseness, just a bit tough.

But it was good. Because that means they were aware of the other’s existence.
