The good thing about bringing on new people is that it gave the previous crew a chance to grow, to expand their horizons and learn new things.

The bad thing about bringing on new people is that they are constantly questioning every curious custom, turn of phrase, or idiom that they don’t recognize.

The good thing about bringing on new people is that one starts to question their own curious customs.

“Hey, guys?” Usopp tinkered with the broken microscope in his hand, a by-product of Chopper trying to explain the concept of bacterial organisms to Luffy. (According to Luffy’s logic, by destroying the microscope he was destroying the germs. No matter. It was nothing the Great Pirate Captain Usopp couldn’t fix.) When he looked up, he found that his long pause had drawn both Zoro and Sanji’s eyes to him. Swallowing hard, he voiced the idea that had been occupying most of his thoughts since his frank discussion with Robin. “Can I switch places with Zoro next time?”

I think I'm stupid, because I went back, read Chibi's drabble, and I STILL don't get it. @_@ *whimpers*

No, I'm just really obtuse sometimes. My line of reasoning was this: people put Zoro on top in most Zoro/Sanji pairings, and Sanji tops most of the time in Sanji/Usopp pairings, so I figured given Chibi's drabble that Usopp'd end up on the bottom of the pile (which is not an entirely bad thing!) and accept it up until someone new came into the picture (Robin) and started to question things.

*deep breath* And now I feel bad that you had to go through the gigantic holes in my drabble. :(

Hahahaha, don't worry, I'm just thick skulled and these things comes slowly to me. lol Anyway I enjoyed the drabble anyway, seeing Usopp in a new light and all (to be honest I don't like him with either Sanji or Zoro... THEY'RE ONLY FOR EACH OTHER!!!)
