He knows he shouldn't jump to the bait. But he can't help it - craving the brat's fire as he does. It's heat, the only thing that has ever matched him. In all his blazon glory, as usual -standing before the marine. Head cocked to the side with a hand on his hip. It'd taken him shorter this time, a few breathy quips about what he'd dreamed of last night. And down he goes and he knows the brat knows, the smile gave it all away.

The next morning, he chases him out, cursing and threatening, both aware that the cycle will continue all over again the next time he comes to call.
