When Zoro awoke from his second afternoon nap, it was to the sound of sniggering. He stretched, opened one eye, and managed to catch a fleeting glimpse of pink before it disappeared into the galley. As he stood, he heard three distinct sounds of laughter coming from the upper decks.

Nami, Sanji, and Robin looked down on him from their lofty perch, clutching their sides in mirth. Even after a growled inquiry as to what-the-hell-was-so-funny, none of them seemed inclined to answer. Even the normally serene Robin was hard pressed to keep her cool, although she did comment that yellow suited him very well.

Before Zoro could decipher that cryptic comment, Luffy bounced down from the crow’s nest, climbing onto Zoro’s back piggy-back style and burying his nose into Zoro’s hair. The captain then made a face and hopped down, proclaiming that it didn’t smell nice at all. The befuddled swordsman made a frantic dash to the bathroom, cursing under his breath the whole way.

The stream of words he let loose when he saw himself in the mirror were harsh enough to peel paint from walls. Sadly, it wasn’t enough to disintegrate the cute yellow flowers Usopp and Chopper had painted on his hair while he was sleeping.
