Sanji stared at the open box with an expression of disbelief. Inside the slightly dusty container was a veritable rainbow of bags, each holding a different brand of flour inside. Corn, wheat, all-purpose, mill-ground, baking, coarse, extra-fine; there were even some made from plants even Sanji had never heard of.
Zoro brushed his hands across his haramaki, leaving a few streaks of white behind. He seemed a bit hesitant, and if Sanji didn’t know any better he’d swear there was a very faint blush across the bridge of his nose. Then again, Zoro didn’t give gifts often, and this showed a lot of thought.
The chef almost reverted to his normal defense of sharp words and a swift kick, but instead he found himself quietly and sincerely saying “Thank you.” Zoro smiled a little, shrugged, and left the galley before the peaceful moment could be accidentally shattered.
