Apologies for unintentionally sparking a debate with the first part.  If the mods want me to remove this, then I'll make like I'm a well-dressed gangster and this story is the punk what saw too much.  It'll be taken care of, is what I'm saying.

As soon as Zoro woke up from his post-lunch nap, he knew that something was very wrong.

 

Likely it had something to do with the fact that Sanji was lying naked against his back, long arms wrapped snuggly around his waist and one of those sleek, deadly weapons he called legs slid between Zoro’s own.

 

Zoro most definitely did not squeal like a girl as he shoved the pervert cook away and jumped to his feet in the beautiful green meadow he found himself in.

 

“Why are you naked?  Where are we?  And why are you naked?!”

 

Sanji rose to his elbows, his startled, sleepy eyelids rising to half-mast and then quickly to full as he saw Zoro.

 

He did squeak like a girl.  Certainly.

 

“What the hell happened to you?”  He rose effortlessly to his feet and approached Zoro.

 

Who backed away quickly.  Because naked.  The Sanji’s words sunk in.

 

“What’s wrong with me?” He looked down frantically to search for differences that would affect his future as a world’s greatest swordsman and only saw his normal, clothed body.  “I’m fine.  You’re naked.  Where is everybody and where are we and stop being so damn naked!”

 

“Shut up about the naked thing!  Something’s turned you human and it’s made you lose your already tiny mind.”

 

Sanji crossed his arms over his chest and worried.  Zoro looked at the ground and pondered Sanji’s newfound insanity.  And did not ponder his newfound nakedness.

 

No two ways about it.  Something seriously fucked-up was going on.

XDD Yes Zoro we know, and you're so incredibly laughably cute while sputtering about Sanji's nakedness. Though in all fairness, my brain would probably short circuit under those circumstances as well. not to suggest I wouldn't like to give it a try

Oh, yes, let us lift our classes to the extreme fineness(?) that is the two of them. I chortled a bit when I read a description of OP that said it garnered its fair share of yaoi "despite not having particularly attractive male characters." Such folly!

No one yelled at me for posting Phoenix Falling here, so as long as you keep the chapters at 300 or less, you should be fine... unless I just slipped under the radar. ::Shifty eyes::

Okay, I just have to stop here and say that despite the fact that I've been a total idiot about commenting since joining this community, I thought that Phoenix Falling was brilliant. Poignant. So fangirling time here for a bit:

I loved, loved, loved right when Sanji ended up back in the past, before he gets with Zoro, and he's just so happy to see all of them. Like, there's the part where he's stroking Usopp's goggles, I think, and that really touched me. 'Cause that was his family and they were all gone and he got them back. I'm fangirling all wrong, but I loved the nakama-love the most out of that series.

Um, okay, coming back to my tigercrackporn, there will be more and likely here because the mods haven't said anything. So I guess I can put away the handcannon and the butterfly switchblade.
