Thuwmp! was the sound Ussop made as he hit the floor of the bunkroom. "Whaaa?" he mumbled, blearily looking up at Zoro, then Luffy who he noticed holding on the side of his hammock. "What did you wake me up for?" he half whined, annoyed at the abrupt early morning wake up call.
"We have to get Sanji!" Luffy declared, with a ear to ear grin.
"...Where is he, how did he even get off the ship?"
"No, not that type, we have to get him back, you know, for his rules."
Staring at Luffy for a minute, Ussop began to climb back in his hammock. He'd figure this out in a few hours.
Maybe.
Unfortunately, before he could even get both legs in the hammock, a rough, calloused hand gripped his shoulder, twisting it so he was looking at the owner.
"What Luffy means is that Sanji is trying to tell us what we can and can't do and we're going to fix that, and you're going to help. When I say so, all three of us are going to rush into the galley, and Luffy steals whatever the bastards trying to cook and you're going to take a spoon, pot, or his wire stirring thing." Zoro stated in an almost matter of fact tone.
Still half asleep, Ussop squinted his eyes and said, "a whisk."
"Whatever."
"He's going to be pissed. We're never going to get out with out him kicking us, and I, for one, am not going to deal with that this early in the morning." Ussop mumbled. "And what are you going to be doing while Luffy and I are risking our necks."
"I'll be screwing him senseless, giving you two a chance to escape." came the prompt reply
"...What a sacrifice."

Date: 2006-07-10 05:26 pm (UTC)You'd think Zoro would pick up on the names of kitchen tools after so much time in the galley, um, sacrificing for the team, that he'd have a clue what they're called. Oh well. Get at it, boys!
