A/N: Sorry for any OOCness or crappyness in general, I've never tried this pairing before.
"Did you find him, Taisa," Tashigi asked as she looked up, receiving a grunt and scowl as Smoker strode into the other room, closing the door behind him.
Most would have been puzzled, but Tashigi knew Smoker well. The grunt meant that he’d found him, while the scowl meant he’d had a chance Smoker had let slip through his fingers that he was still mulling over. A slight twist of the lip showed something was bothering him. However, the door hadn't been slammed, telling her that he wasn't necessarily regretting it
Hmmm, maybe Straw Hat Luffy had been assisting some nice soul in a difficult position, like that kindhearted princess from Alabasta when Smoker had found him, wondered Tashigi as she polished her sword.
Smoker scowled, running his hand along his neck, shaking his head. This was something he wouldn't have been terribly surprised if the older D brother had attempted it, but the younger?
Smoker approached the youth from behind, gripping his shoulder, "What do we have here," he'd growled into Straw Hat’s ear.
Turning, the boy stared at him before flashing that damned smile again.
Unnerved by the grin, Smoker barked, “And what do you think I should do with you?”
Smiling wider, Straw Hat leaned in, and replied, “I can think of something. I still don’t hate you, you know,” as he’d slid his hand up Smoker’s thigh.
It had been unprofessional, if not stupid, but he’d taken him up on the offer, in a little room above the bar where the pirate didn’t disappoint him.
When he woke up in the morning (alone) Smoker looked in the mirror, seeing it in all it’s glory. It was large, slightly painful, and a vicious purple. It was the worst hickey Smoker had seen in his life.
Damn Pirate.

Date: 2006-07-12 08:46 pm (UTC)Tashigi's observations were cute and were a good way to show just how Smoker felt about the whole thing without having him reflect on it himself. Luffy might never come onto Smoker, and if he did Smoker probably wouldn't accept, but if it ever did come about I'd like to think, Luffy would leave a giant hickey like that. XD
I mean... look at the size of Luffy's mouth! It must be huge! Then you take into account his general enthusiasm and Luffy practically branded poor Smoker. ^^
