Meh, struggled with this for a while, didn't turn out that great.

Zeff’s path was set at six, when he’d heard of the magical ocean with every fish in the world. Those minutes marked the first step of a journey that would take him far from his village, up to places unknown.

It was only natural for him to join the first crew that would hire him as a kitchen hand not caring it was a pirate ship. Years passed, and he found himself captain of a loyal crew, searching out his dream in hopes of making it a reality, in the one place he thought it could possibly be.

With his path going straight for so long, he was caught off guard when a sudden curve appeared. Zeff found not only his own life and dreams in jeopardy, but a young, foul mouthed kid stranded with him on the rock for those long 85 days. When rescue finally arrived, Zeff quietly resigned to himself that while one dream was now out of reach, his other was possible through a bag of treasure and the stubborn brat who shared his dreams. Zeff would have to let go of the place that he had shaped his whole life and move on, building his floating restaurant and finding himself with the task raising the small hell raiser who still refused to leave his side.

It took ten years for Zeff realize All Blue was never lost. While he may have lost his leg, he still had his dreams and spirit, and through the boy, now a man, he’d gained back his dream of being able to find All Blue. He had even recovered his youth, living vicariously through him. The discovery of All Blue was once again possible.

It appeared some dreams refused to be given up on.
