Everyone Has Their Limits
Jul. 22nd, 2006 09:03 amTitle: Everyone Has Their Limits
Rating: light PG
Pairing: Luffy/Zoro
Word Count: 186
Topic: Territory
Notes: Hand-counted, so it might not be totally accurate.
Early on, Zoro had established his boundaries with the rest of the crew. No unnecessary touching, no stealing his swords, no stealing his booze, no swiping food off his plate, and absolutely no stepping on his face during naps.
As the Mugiwara number grew, Zoro found it necessary to add more rules. The enforcement of such, however, grew increasingly lax. No unnecessary molestation, no pantsing, no using his swords as some kind of fiendish jungle gym, and absolutely no tongue-kissing during naps.
One morning, though, he woke up and discovered that he was pants-less. The captain, snuggled fluidly around him, was currently breaking more than five of the swordsman's Rules to Live By. Zoro considered shoving him off, turning to face the wall, or bellowing; he decided against all of these courses of action, and instead slung a protective arm around the rubber man's shoulders.
The little tiger in his head was lolling on a sun-warmed rock, grinning lazily at the antics of the little monkey in the trees above. If he's going to invade my territory, the tiger told himself, he better bring some booze next time.
