Disclaimer: No, I don't own.
Summery: Luffy is always willing to explore new things, while Nami becomes less sure of her captains sanity. (in other words I have no idea how to summarize this)
Notes: I came up with this idea at work. I swear working at a call center is corrupting my brain, or maybe I've been working on the beer survey too much. Please read and enjoy.

Gliding his hand along the ripples, caressing the long dark toned expanse as his palm shifted down the rough and hard surface stroking it with his ministrations. Every inch his fingers moved gently, slowly increasing his pace and friction along his timed rhythm. He bent his head down to level and eyed it with care as he gently lifted it up and...

“Luffy, what are you doing?”, came the cry of a astonished navigator.

Luffy who smiled innocently replied back, “What is it Nami?”

Nami pulling her wits back together tried her best to put her question into a sentence, “Luffy, what...what....what were you doing with that rock just now?”

The man with the red hat held the rock in the air still smiling his naive grin and explained to the perplexed red head, “Well Zoro said one time about being hard as a rock and I was wondering how you become like that. So I was trying with this rock to make myself as hard as it.”

The face of the navigator slipped quickly from dumbfounded to shocked and into frustration as she walked towards her unassuming captain and clobbered him on the head with her staff.

“Ow! Did I say something wrong?” Luffy said in confusion rubbing the growing bump on his head as Nami stocked off in anger.

Not too far away from where the navigator left her captain could the sound of an injured swordsman be heard faintly. “Ah...ow...fu..ow. What's the fu...ow! What the hell is wrong with you woman?”, was all that could be
deciphered from the swordsman, just before another loud thunk was heard followed by silence afterwards.

"So I was trying with this rock to make myself as hard as it." *falls over laughing* Then the Wrath of Nami decends to dish out punishment to the boys, and poor Zoro hasn't a clue as to what is going on. Fun!

As per usual, The Wrath of Nami is like a weather forecaster trying to predict when a Tsunami will hit, you can never get it quite right.

"...And today we can expect sunny-no wait what is this?", weather reporter gets handed a random sheet of paper and reads it.

The weather reporters hands start to shake as he crumples the piece of paper in his hands, "Well...well...I'm sorry folks but we have a late breaking announcement. I'm afraid that we have spotted with our satellites the storm system known as 'The Wrath of Nami' and it is expected to hit the towns of Red Hat and Santouryuu within a hour. So if you are presently heading in the direction of those towns I advise you to turn back; or if you are already in the vicinity to seek shelter immediately."

The weather reporter is now handed another piece of paper, reads it and adjusts his tie in view of the camera, "I was yet again advised that it will not be there in and hour but will ARRIVE IN A MATTER OF MINUTES!!! SEEK SHELTER NOW!! ACTUALLY WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING HERE???"

The former weather reporter runs off leaving a trail of smoke and paper behind in his rush.

Sanji can be seen in the distance shouting, "NAMI-SWWAAAN!!!!"

"What is it Sanji-kun?", Nami turns away from from the swordsman that she just knockout a minute ago and walks over to the cook who presents the navigator with a refreshment.

Hee! I think Sanji's probably got the right idea. He does seem to weather fewer attacks, and when he does get hit, he tends to compliment Nami on her form, and thus is less likely to get twice or more in a row (not because she believes him - it seems to be a cross between disgust and the acknowledgement that he's at least doing something other than what pissed her off).

Very true. It goes to show you that Sanji might be just a little bit more cleverer than he lets on to be...if only by accident or coincidence.

Oh, I'm a firm believer that Sanji's a lot more clever than he lets on. A hell of a lot of the odd things he does seem to have a purpose. For example, I'm pretty well convinced he calls Robin "Robin-chan" because he's trying to make her feel comfortable surrounded by people younger than her while he still remains politely distant. -chan, after all, is used for a woman you're close to and who is younger than you but hasn't given you the permission to use their name without honorifics...

I think I have a soft spot for Zoro being beaten for things he doesn't even know he did... is that bad?

Nope he never will and if he even bothers to ask Nami he will probably get clobbered again. Thus creating more confusion for the poor swordsman and tones of headaches. No wonder he sleeps half the time.

Thanks!!! I have always held a certain amusement for Luffy's clueless behavior.
Working for a few hours and hearing nothing but the dial tone does make the mind trail off in weird directions.*as mine does many times*
