Rating: PG-13 - swearing (I don't think the implied nekkidness of showering is all that rating-worthy - or am I just too comfortable with nudism? ;)

Topic: Cold
A/N: The title isn't really a good descriptor, but it's all I could come up with. I've had this idea in my head for like for-fricken-ever, and when I finally decide that I'm going to join the OPY100 drabble contest just to kick-start *anything* resembling writing from me again, there is a topic where I can finally kick this plot-bunny out of my head and try to raise some other rabbits. Also, somewhat OOC.
The warm water washed over his back and shoulders, easing the day's tension and washing the soapy suds down the drain. Sanji stared blankly at the swirl of the water around his feet, letting the shower soothe away his thoughts. His mind hovered dazedly in the steam hazing throughout the ship's small bathroom. He reached for the shampoo bottle, and then suddenly, without warning, there was no warm.
"S-s-s-shit!" He belatedly remembered that the small hot water tank had been working overtime lately, as they passed by the edges of a winter island climate zone. The cold water pouring over his goose-bumped flesh was sending his loosened muscles into bone-clenchingly tight shivers, as he frantically tried to finish washing his hair.
"F-f-fuck-fuck-fuck!" Wrenching the taps off, he practically threw himself out of the shower and groped desperately around for a towel. His fingers and hands trembled so badly he could barely hold on to it. The steam in the room, he thought, should have clued him in - it wasn't that the water was that hot, it was that the air was cold, godammit. They must be sailing right into the winter zone. Fuck.
The stingy towel offered little warmth, and he groaned to think that anything resembling a blanket was back in the sleeping quarters, when two thick tanned arms materialized out of the steam and wrapped themselves around him. A hot chest pressed up against his shuddering back, and an even warmer mouth nuzzled into his neck. Blessed heat surrounded him, and he felt a deep voice mutter into his skin – “thought you might forget about the water tank, aho-cook.”
