I was going through my old hard-copy writings and I discovered this amongst the rubbish just in time for the new topic to be announced! 8D I hope it still counts.

The Going Merry was in drydock for repairs, and her crew had voted unanimously to send Usopp out for supplies. Wind shrieking and dry flurries of snow stinging his eyes, he struggled back towards the sheep's head, packages clutched clumsily in his arms. His ears were throbbing, fingers prickling with cold, and the tip of his nose was growing blue and numb. He staggered, grappled with boxes and bags, righted himself just as another gust bore down on him, howling. Wood clunked against his shoulder, and he groped his way towards the gangplank, teeth chattering with chill and revenge.

Chopper pounced on him as soon as he set his burden down, clinging to his arm and dragging him towards the galley. "You should have worn better clothes!" he said shrilly over Usopp's protests. "It's not safe to stay outside for so long without being wrapped up!"

"At least he got back with the supplies, alive," Sanji commented as the kitchen door swung open. Chopper frowned at the cook and pushed Usopp into a chair. Naturally, the marksman kept talking. "Really -- I'm fine -- the Great Captain Usopp would never submit to such pathetic cold! -- why, I've faced temperatures ten times colder than this for weeks at a time! -- the eggplants had all frozen, and I was the only one --" The reindeer shoved a mug of herb tea into his hands, and he sipped and sneezed. "Of course, that was when I had the enchantress cast a protective spell over me because of her undying love," he admitted. Chopper frowned again, this time more out of concern than irritation. "I worry about you, Usopp-san. Be careful. I don't want you to go." Usopp drained the mug, hugged the deer, and stood up. "I'll be careful, doctor."

This was so sweet. I especially love how Ussop calls Chopper Doctor after he hugs him.
