Pairing: Zoro and Sanji are both in it.
Notes: It sucks, it’s off topic, but at least I’ve finally got my OP muses working again,and it has a topless Zoro so it’s not all bad.
There was a small, but long box on the Going Merry that no one have ever seen opened. The fact that Zoro’s name was carved on it was explanation enough for most of the crew.
But Sanji wondered why it seemed that not even Zoro himself had ever opened it.
This night however the cook noticed that the box must have been opened recently because although the lock was in place, it hadn’t been shut tight.
Sanji couldn’t help it, curiosity may have killed the cat, but at least he died satisfied. He opened the box.
It was full of sword shards.
It was impossible to tell how many shards of metal there were, but he counted three hilts.
The inside lid had three names written inside it. He only recognised Yubashiri’s.
The box was slammed closed, the lid almost taking Sanji’s fingers off. Sanji’s eyes followed the foot now resting on the box up the black clad leg, green haramaki, and scared chest, up to Zoro’s blank face.
“Why keep them?” Sanji asked. “What good is a broken sword?”
“Because a Swordsman is nothing without his swords and each one should be treated with respect.“
Sanji looked down at the box again for a moment, it did make a kind of sense, but it was still something he had never expected from Zoro.
Just as Zoro wasn’t expecting the foot suddenly flying towards his head. He barely ducked in time.
“What the hell was that for!”
“You almost chopped my fingers off with the lid you bastard!”
