Closing his eyes for a moment, Sanji rested his arms on the table surface before him. Relaxing his muscles, he let himself drift into thought, just for a bit.

So much time had passed since their last meeting. No. It was more that so much happened in that time, not that it had been long. In that amount of time, they'd acquired new crew members, saved an island of people in the sky from a delusional tyrant, beat the Foxy Pirates at their own dirty game, and stood against the World Government.

So much had changed. Their strengths, weaknesses, the way they viewed each other. Even their ship had changed.

Between all these factors, he wondered for a moment if his feelings for the other man had changed. Time could do quite a few numbers on a man, after all. But the thought only plagued him for a moment.

Realizing the black haired head before him had started to move, Sanji broke out of thought to look into the dark eyes framed with long lashes. A sleepy smile flashed in his direction from the other Pirate, eyes blearily blinking while a warm smile slid across his face. The smile stayed on his face even while wiping the food off, causing Sanji to chuckle.

Raising an eyebrow, Ace reached across the table to grip Sanji's chin. "Oi, I finally get to see you again after all this time, and you laugh at me,?" he asked with a sparkle in his eye before he pulled Sanji's face toward him for a long overdue kiss.
