Sure, they fought. Fought a lot. Over stupid shit. Like his gambling problem. But he never thought they would have to fight like this. Back then, they were friends, family. Or, at least he thought they were.

Fuck, what the hell were they now? Enemies just wasn't a strong enough word. What the fuck do you call a black-hearted bastard that tried to kill the person a whole island looks up to?

Paulie looked to the faces of the Strawhats and the Franky Family. The rage and determination radiated like a wild fire streaking through the pitch-black storm of the Aqua Laguna. As Paulie himself looked back out at the dark clouds, he knew just the words he was looking for.

"Lucci's a dead man."

Ever since finally reaching the point where he shows up I've become a rabid little Paulie fangirl. So of course this was good to see; it was bitter and determined and lovely. This line especially: "rage and determination radiated like a wild fire". Mmmmm... banding together to pwn things.... I love One Piece soooooooo much. ♥

I adore Paulie. So much. I hope, if anyone joins the crew after Water 7/Enies Lobby, it's him. I just love how he's fighting along side the Strawhats and the Franky Family to kick CP9's ass. You know he's got to be hurting. He trusted Lucci and the others so much. They were a part of the family that was Galley La. And for them to hurt Iceburg and just... It makes me ache for Paulie just thinking about it. D: All the more reason to trust Luffy to kick Lucci's ass!
