Yay unusual pairings!

Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 298
Pairing: Ace --> Zoro
Topic: The Unconventional Approach
***********************************
Damn, but the swordsman was frustrating! Ace had never had this much trouble convincing someone to sleep with him!
The older boy had been traveling with the Straw Hat crew for over a week and as far as he could tell Zoro was still either uninterested or oblivious. He had never failed so spectacularly at seducing someone.
The younger man seemed immune to the raw sexuality Ace knew he was an expert at radiating; he had slunk, posed, and leered himself to exhaustion and gotten absolutely nothing out of it. Charm wasn’t working either; it seemed to do nothing more than bore the oblivious brute. Not to mention he had never gotten such a blank reaction to his flirting; Zoro merely looked confused of all things. At this point Ace had even noticed the aggressively heterosexual cook expressing an interest and was about ready to switch his focus.
But there was one thing left to try. Perhaps he was still being too subtle. It boggled Ace’s mind how Zoro could’ve missed his intentions, but he still hadn’t been refused, just… ignored.
Such a blunt personality might require a more unconventional approach. Ace had spent the morning thinking up a new strategy and he was now ready to put it into action. Zoro was just settling down for a nap on the sun-warmed deck and seemed to be in a good mood. Ace figured this was a good a time as any and approached, phrasing his offer in the way he hoped would most appeal to the swordsman.
“So, wanna fuck?”
The swordsman twitched violently into a sitting position, then froze and his eyes leapt to meet Ace’s, radiating disbelief and what appeared to be terror.
Ace mentally cursed with disappointment. But at least now he had an answer.

Date: 2006-09-19 08:54 am (UTC)And poor horny Ace - he's just going to *have* to switch to Sanji now, isn't he?

Date: 2006-09-19 05:17 pm (UTC)I think however little Zoro was interested in Ace he'll be horrified that he's been replaced with the shitty cook. Then he'll need Usopp to sooth HIS poor abused ego ^_^

Date: 2006-09-19 09:45 pm (UTC)And that's a good point. Zoro wouldn't like people thinking Sanji is a suitable replacement for him for anything. He'd have to go prove himself, either with them, or with Usopp. That pairing is slowly creeping into this fandom (I hope dethorats, sherrymarie, and sherriaisling are proud of themselves), it's nice to see. ^^

Date: 2006-09-19 09:21 am (UTC)I'd still love to see your take on a Sanji/Zoro parody. They're just so mockable, and you're so good at it. ^^

Date: 2006-09-19 08:56 pm (UTC)And OMG I'm a memory?! I had no idea people have such a desire to see Ace shot down. XD

Date: 2006-09-19 02:19 pm (UTC)That has to be the bluntest preposition fandom!Ace has ever used. Crude and so damn funny.
The swordsman twitched violently into a sitting position, then froze and his eyes leapt to meet Ace’s, radiating disbelief and what appeared to be terror. XDDD Awww, poor Zoro-kun. What a reaction. Made me about want to howl with laughter (but the roomie's sleeping, darn). <3

Date: 2006-09-19 09:07 pm (UTC)Glad you enjoyed Zoro's reaction too, it was the second line I wrote of this and I'm quite happy with it. ^^ Picturing his huge eyes and possibly jaw-dropping shock. Followed by him scuttling away (if he had anywhere to go).

Date: 2006-09-19 11:20 pm (UTC)A pity neither Ace or Zoro are not even near lucky but at least Ace has Sanji to help turn his fortune around. Maybe next time though Ace should try to convince Zoro that it's an essential part of training. XD

Date: 2006-09-19 11:31 pm (UTC)....Suddenly I feel like that last line could get Zoro to do so much. XD

Date: 2006-09-20 04:59 am (UTC)Poor Ace. You dropped your manners and didn't even get laid for it. Go talk to Sanji, he understands politeness. ^^

Date: 2006-09-20 05:32 am (UTC)That is such a good point. I mean...I'm glad you caught that. *nods* Zoro and Luffy both have their odd moments of clarity but in general, their denseness is stunning.Comments like this keep making me wonder just what Sanji was thought of this situation. @_@
Sanji: "God you shitty idiot! He wants to sleep with you!"
Zoro: o.O "Wha? Why?"
Sanji: "I have no fucking clue."
Zoro: "It's not like he'd get cold at night or anything..."
Sanji: *facepalm*
Then Sanji would drag Ace off into the storage hold to apologize properly for his crewmates idiocy and compensate him for his trouble.
...if fangirls were in charge of the whole thing.
