Edit: just noticed all the errors. I need to make a note to myself not to post something at at night when I'm sick again.

"Saaaanjiii!"

Jerking at the sudden touch of the hands gripping his apron strings, Sanji looked back to see Luffy staring at him, eyes huge and lips jutting outward. "I'm hungry!"


Rolling his eyes at the demanding voice, Sanji turned back to the stove before snapping, "Dinner won't be ready for an hour. Eat a cookie or get out."

Tugging on the apron, Luffy whined, "But the cookies are cold! I need something that can warm me up."

Furrowing his brow, Sanji paused before looking at his captain and asked, "Since when has the temperature outside caused you to be a picky eater." Stopping to think again, Sanji looked back at Luffy and stared for a moment before he continued. "Since when have you ever been a picky eater?"

"Since it got so cold out! I need to warm up!" Luffy promptly whined back, moving to lean closer to the cook.

"For god's sake Luffy, then put a sweater or coat on." Sanji growled in irritation, trying to turn back to what was supposed to be breakfast.

Wrapping his arms around the cook, Luffy whispered, "But they're not warm enough," before nuzzling his head into Sanji's back.

Rolling his eyes for the second time, but this time with a twinge of affection, Sanji turned around to out an arm around the dark haired boy.

"Luffy, you really have a roundabout way of asking for things."

I get the feeling any request Luffy may have is initially phrased as "I'm hungry!"

This was very cute, and it's great to see some LuSan.

I think any thought that goes through Luffy's head initially runs along the lines of "I'm hungry."
