I Love Jango. Even when he's being vile.
Sep. 20th, 2006 05:44 amTitle: To Start Again
Rating: G
Word Count: 150
Pairing: Jango/Fullbody
Topic: The Unconventional Approach
Disclaimer: One Piece is Eiichiro Oda's and I make no claim to it.
Author's Notes: I am pretty much completely ignoring what cannon exists for how these two met. Sorry about that.
Whatever the metal-knuckled man had been drinking was now more melted ice than anything.
Not that it mattered. Booze might work for some, but Jango had far surer, far more efficient ways to draw courage from himself and pliability from others. Maybe it was unconventional in approach, but it always worked, and the result was all that mattered.
Nothing to have a crisis of conscience over.
Hell, pirates were supposed to do this sort of thing.
Jango leaned in, so close his nose almost touched the man's pink hair. "You will be spending tonight with me." The mirror-bright weapon was released to swing. "Ooooone..."
"Will I?" The man turned his eyes to Jango for the first time.
"Twooooo..."
The familiar eyes of a man newly, not yet happily, free.
Jango jerked the cord upward, caught the sharp metal ring in gloved fingers. "Care to let me buy you coffee first?"
