In other news, Kanthia's almost done writing the sequel to Initiate! Confrontation!, which took way too long.

My name is Suni and I’m turning twelve this year. I’m kinda small and sharp as a blade of grass and have hair bright as the sun, and my hobby is cooking but don’t tell anyone.
His name is Sora, and he’s twelve also but he likes to pretend he’s fourteen and oh-so-old. He’s big and scary and the first thing that I said when I first met him was ‘Marimo’, ‘cause he has all green hair on his head cut real short. He likes swords and things.
They called us Childrens of the Myths, or something like that. It was supposed to be a pro-phe-cy. Y’see, there used to be these great pirates who started the Second Age a long time ago who worked for the legendary Dragon King Luffy. One was named Zoro the Demon of Swords who fought with six swords an’ could talk to ghosts. There was another named Sanji the Goddess’ Wind who was their cook an’ who used the power of wind when they fought.
Well all that stuff is made up, see. But all of the grown-ups talked real excited when they brought the two of us together. They say they’re gonna make a third Age ‘cause the second one is taking too long since nobody dreams like the Dragon King anymore. They want us to get in love like in the old myths.
I think it’s all real dumb. I don’t like Sora at all, he’s always talking about cutting steel and paper and nothing. Well, he is real nice to look at. I’m kinda scared to think we’re meant to fall in love ‘cause the old myths and us have lots in common- look at me, for instance. Both me an’ Sanji are cooks, have yellow hair, and are girls.

Date: 2006-09-25 03:23 am (UTC)Just with the age thingy, not a lot of people realize that though they're both 19, Zoro is older. he mentioned it to Chopper in an episode and if you think about it, Luffy left his village when he turned 17, and his b-day is in may, meaning that sanji turned 19 that year and zoro is 19 approaching 20. ^__^ Sorry for my rambling. ^.^;
