this is for the pain topic this week or whatever.
Title: Love Bares ALl Pain.
Pairing: SAnji/Zoro
Ratings: PG
Words: 290 i think.
‘Stupid idiot.’ Sanji thought bitterly as he helped the limping swordsman back to the boat. Once on the boat and in the gallery Sanji propped the broken leg on a chair then faced Zoro.
“I’ve gotta set it Zoro.” The swordsman merely glared at him.
“Do it.” He didn’t understand. Sanji knew that there was pain that was going to be involved but he didn’t want to be the one to cause it.
“It’s not easy as that you moron. It’s going to hurt.”
“Sanji . . .” The cook sighed but toke his position by Zoro’s foot. He grabbed the knife off the counter then cut a bit by the wooden stake. Zoro merely winced as the sore spot on his foot was penetrated more.
Sanji grabbed one end of the stake and snuck a look up at Zoro. The swordsman nodded but the cook hesitated. Zoro leaned forward and closed his hands over Sanji’s.
“Damnit cook. Pull it out.” Sanji nodded and grasped it tighter. He pulled but stopped when Zoro hitched his breath.
“Cook. I said pull.” Sanji closed his eyes and pulled with his remaining strength. A choked scream tore from Zoro mouth as it tore Sanji’s heart as well.
Blood spitted from the wound and Zoro grasped Sanji’s pale hands while grasping his foot.
Sanji was trying hard not to let a sob be heard from him. His face was pale when he realized it was his fault his Zoro was in so much pain. He bowed his head. The spear had been meant for him not Zoro. Why did Zoro have to save people all the time anyway?
Zoro pulled Sanji face up and hugged the thin man to his chest as he breathed in the scent of the Cooks hair.
“Love bares all pain Sanji.”

I remember seeing that saying somewhere and I thought it would work for the pain topic.
