Title: A thoughtful moment.

Pairing: Zo/San, and a suggestion of San/Mihawk
Topic: Second Best
Now Sanji was known to spend a great deal of time in the Galley, more so than anyone else.
This being so it gave the cook a lot of alone time, provided his nakama – namely his beloved captain – were not interrogating him on the time food would be edible.
Predictably Sanji was having one such peaceful moment, and in this moment he found himself wondering about the biggest distraction on the ship, namely Zoro.
He hadn’t thought much of Zoro upon first meeting him, that much was evident, but who did catch the cooks eye was the other swordsman. Mihawk was so much more composed and civilized. He spoke well, conducted himself well and was obviously the better catch.
However, the former swordsman had conviction, spirit and green hair. Sanji smirked slightly. Now green hair wasn’t much of a reason per se, but it did amuse the blond to no end. And there was also the knowledge that Zoro wasn’t going to settle for second best for long…
…So Sanji would quite happily wait until a certain moss-haired idiot had reached his goals, because he had made it quite clear that second best just wasn’t good enough for his swordsman.
The cook lit a cigarette and then stopped mid-puff. Perhaps making the Swordsman’s ‘second’ favorite supper would serve as reminder. He turned to the window in the galley and looked out to the deck below.
Zoro was training.
Perhaps he should serve some of that sake after dinner…
