Title: Perspectives
Word Count: 196.
Rating: G.
Pairing: Very light Zoro/Sanji/Usopp. VERY light. Like not-there light. OTL.
Topic: Music.
Thick golden dollops of saxophone blended with smoky clove piano and sharp citrus trumpet, all slathered richly over a voice like homemade vanilla ice cream, thick and creamy and smooth.
****
The piano picked out a spectrum of shimmering aural colors, splashes of gem-toned saxophone and fiery trumpet dripped across the rough canvas air of the bar. The deft brushwork of an opalescent voice added the few strokes that brought the rest of the painting into a harmonious focus.
****
The trumpet sliced clean lines through the air, counterbalancing the sleek katas of the saxophone and the swift movement of the piano. A voice swirled with chi and control held the other elements in mastery, working each deftly in its turn.
****
“She’s wonderful,” Sanji sparkled, blowing heart-shaped smoke-rings at the lovely singer of the jazz band in the bar that he and Usopp had finally discovered Zoro in.
Usopp nodded, too polite to inform Sanji that she was nearly as good as Great Singer Usopp, holder of four thousand and fourteen world-class singing titles, and tapped his index finger gently on the bar in time to the beat.
“Nnn,” Zoro commented eloquently, taking another drink.
