The music brought everyone’s feelings to the light when it began to play. All love unrequited and mutual hung uncomfortably thick in the natural sensual merriment of the song. He was sure they needed a musician, but he wasn’t confident it was a good thing. He watched Zoro stare at Sanji with a predatory lust. He saw Sanji stare back wantonly with the look of the perfect prey before he remembered himself and focused a faux longing on Nami. He felt Nami respect-filled gaze burn into him as Robin’s look of quiet hope landed on the red head. He found it heart-breaking and much too hard to watch. So he turned with the biggest smile he could muster to Usopp only to find Usopp's tear glistened eyes squinting to some unseen point way past the horizon. He was now a hundred percent sure the musician wasn’t a good thing.
