I've decided to make it my mission in life to spread the Ace/Luffy love. So as of now, I shall neglect Sanji, Zoro, and Usopp in favour of our favorite brothers. ... MY favorite brothers, in any case.

"Ow," Luffy said, bringing his wrist up to his mouth.

Ace looked up from his spot on the bed. "What's wrong?" He shifted so that he could get a closer look at his brother.

Luffy shook his head. "It's nothing, really. You just singed me." He held out his hand for Ace to see. A small red welt was forming along Luffy's wrist, where Ace had just moments ago brushed his fingers over.

"I'm sorry," Ace replied, moving to get some cold water to soothe the pain a bit. A hand reached out and stopped him.

"No, it's okay. I don't mind the pain. Besides, now every time I look at the scar, I'll think of you. 'That was my brother,' I'll tell them." The two of them chuckled a bit over the idea. Ace settled back down in the bed and pulled Luffy close to him, careful to keep his power in check.

"I hope you won't also mention how it happened while we were naked in bed together."

"Only if they ask."

Ace wasn't sure if that was a good or a bad answer, but Luffy was already dozing off, and he just didn't have the heart to explain the concept of "taboo" to him.
