Notes: I wrote something NOT Water Seven or Chaka/Pell? Shock, horror! And yes, I do get a kick out of Zoro not being the clueless one for a change.

Nami's sense of direction is unerring. Thus, she watches Zoro and Sanji exchange a particularly fervent round of violence and vitriol with something resembling amazement.

Zoro's never completely failed to arrive at a fight, albeit usually after a few hours and several dozen wrong turns. Nami's generally there to punch him upside the head, even if all Luffy does is nod in solemn understanding.

But Nami's internal compass says Zoro may actually have found his way to this battle in time to throw the first punch.

Maybe she shouldn't be that surprised.

Falling requires no sense of direction at all.

Well, I'm hoping to write a drabble for each weekly theme, cause I could use the practice. I usually write much longer stuff (3,000-10,000 on average, and a couple of very long multi-chaptered things in the 50,000-70,000 range), so drabbles are a very interesting exercise for someone as, well, verbose as me. (In other words, I'm trying to learn to talk less and say more.)

Although it probably *should*, lest he land upside-down in the chimney again... *wink* Falling for someone, though, is generally easier when you're not turned in the wrong direction to begin with, or clinging to the wrong thing, ne? No wonder Zoro got there first, for once.

Huh! I just realized that I've actually rounded up all the Straw Hats with interesting hair colours (fur doesn't count?). Weird! Although maybe given my other pairings... not so much XD

Let's see... Paulie's about as blonde as they come, Iceburg and Franky have that amazing blue and purple, Pell's a brunette, Smoker's is white, Shanks's is red... uh, yeah, I'm gonna stop >.>
