Peaceful Drabbles for Peaceful Times
Nov. 10th, 2006 09:32 pmHello! I'm new to the community and I thought I'd start off by posting my first topic drabble. I'm sorta new to the whole drabble world as well, but I hope you enjoy it!
Title: Kiss to Make it Better
Rating: PG
Word Count: 226
Pairing: UsoLu
Topic: Peace
Usopp had a headache.
Scratch that. He had a full blown earth shattering migraine.
He hated it when he got migraines because his attitude fouled and he feel into a very uncharacteristic bad mood. And what is the one thing you don’t want to see when you’re in a terrible mood? Why, someone in an incredibly good mood bounce up to up with a smile on his lips and a skip to his jump.
Unfortunately that is exactly what the sharpshooter saw when he reluctantly opened his eyes and witnessed his “beloved” captain plop down next to him and start spurting forth on some subject so minute that even the rubbery boy himself wouldn’t remember it in twenty minutes.
‘He must be bored,’ thought the sharpshooter, ‘he only goes on like this when he’s bored.'
To make it worse Luffy had the habit of poking, prodding, and slapping whomever he was talking to, especially when the story was as extravagant as the one he was telling now.
So really the only thing Usopp was thinking when he grabbed Luffy’s collar, pulled him forward, and smashed their lips together, is that he was finally able to shut the boy up and enjoy some peace and quiet.
Of course, it helped that this particular way of quieting his captain just happened to be his preferred and favourite method.

Date: 2006-11-11 03:03 am (UTC)This is the reason why I leave a trail of corpses behind me before I've had my morning coffee. (Just kidding. Mostly).
I love your description of Luffy, so...effervescent. I'd want to
killkiss him too.PS: It's fouled, not fowled. Fowled means to hunt or trap wild birds. Now, I know how desperately bad-tempered migrainy people can get, but I doubt their mood can go out and slaughter pigeons ;)
