Excuse: I have had the central image of this lurking in my brain for months now. It's about time the drabble got written.

Riotously-overgrown, the owner presumed dead, it looked like a small jungle. But, hey, they were pirates, and pirates looted and pillaged, even if it was only the long-neglected garden of an abandoned cottage.
Now he was watching Sanji's ass. Figuratively, of course. And unfortunately all too literally, as the slender man bent over, long black-clad legs nearly obscured by patches of thigh-high greenery. Running his hands through the leaves as if through a lover's hair, Sanji withdrew strange fist-sized red and yellow and green and purple gems, tossing them into the basket on his hip until they threatened to spill out.
When Sanji couldn't stack another jewel-bright bit, he straightened, and turned to Zoro with a come-hither grin, prepared to hand over his bounty in exchange for the basket Zoro held.
Zoro wasn't going to think about that other thing pirates were known for besides looting and pillaging.
Ravishing, however...

Nami? Isn't all that interested in eggplants and carrots, no matter how well-grown they are, and especially not when they're a little on the wild side, as these ones are... *sigh*
And, yes, ravishing *is* good filler material for a pirate's resume... ;)

Date: 2006-11-25 07:12 pm (UTC)Well, I really wouldn't expect to find actual rubies, citrines, emeralds, or amethysts in a deserted garden, much less any of said jewels the size of a man's fist... I was thinking of peppers and tomatoes and onions and stuff, and how *bright* they look peeking through the leaves in my own (sadly, sadly) under-tended garden. Plus it's Sanji. *He* would think of that as treasure, right?
*shrugs* It's probably just me being obscure and overly convoluted and meaning-filled and onion-like. Again.
A strawhat pirate's CV, huh? That *would* be interesting to see...
