The Young and the Hopeless.
Dec. 27th, 2006 06:03 pmTitle: Seeking Advice
Word Count: 224 est. (under 300 I know)
Rating: PG-13 (language)
Pairing: Zoro ~~>Sanji (potential)
Topic: First Impressions.
A/N: Hand counted because my MicrosoftWord is dead and this was written in notepad :P
Nami stared at Zoro as though he'd sprouted Little Garden from his head. He stared back, ever the determined warrior, waiting as patiently as he could for the woman before him to answer his question.
"So you want to ask Sanji out for the evening?"
Nami was grinning like a shark, she had obviously spent too much time in Arlongs company. He nodded, lips thin with the effort it took to restrain himself from telling the Mugiwara Navigator where to shove it.
"Well, that certainly is interesting! Any advice will -"
"-cost me, I know, now how do I go about asking out the cook without him kicking seven types of shit out of me?"
Zoro waited, Nami was shaking slightly from where she was trying to hold in her laughter. She wasn't being very sympathetic at all. He was beginning to doubt the wisdom of coming to her in the first place...
"You need to get him something, like chocolates, or flowers!"
He raised both eyebrows and thought about it, running it through his mind carefully before slowly nodding and looking at her, appealing for another suggestion. Nami sighed.
"You're hopeless! What more do you need me to tell you?"
"Umm...."
Zoro looked at the tangerine trees behind the red-head then scratched his head.
"Well? Out with it man!"
"Plain or Self-Raising?"

XD I know it's been done (albeit in a different way) but I like it any way.

Date: 2006-12-27 06:14 pm (UTC)I don't get the last line... My first thought had to do with poker, oddly enough, but I'm pretty sure that's not what Zoro's talking abut... ^_^

Date: 2006-12-27 08:06 pm (UTC)Quotes within a replies! XD *dances* Now if it's self raising flowers he needs to talk to Robin, I'm sure she could come up with something for him.
And I reckon Sanji would accept the gift and still kick Zoro, his way of saying thank-you of course.

Date: 2006-12-28 04:07 am (UTC)Poor Zoro, that's probably the only person he could get advice on the subject, except Robin.
