Hey, baybee, what's your sign?
Jan. 8th, 2007 10:48 pmTitle: Compatibility
Topic: (classical) elements
Word Count: 150
Rating: PG
Pairing: S->Z (slight S->N)
Disclaimer: Characters and setting? Not mine. Probably just as well. Here, have them back...
Summary: Sanji keeps a calendar in the kitchen. He has to know which days he needs to bake for, after all.
Excuse: *heh* Because I can. Also, she said, "classical elements", and I got thinking...
Notes: Oda-san lists the signs for the main crew members in the data books, in addition to giving their birthdays, just so we can be certain. Domo! (Luffy's a Taurus, in case this causes you to wonder. Sanji's a Pisces.)
~~~
Oh, the idiot mosshead came across all stonefaced and grounded and, all in all, a very earthy sort of person. Even his build was reminiscent of the power and solidity of earth. And all that green, a colour so often chosen to represent the element. Every obvious sign pointed to it, to Zoro being the same bullheaded sort of moron their Captain was.
But in point of fact, Sanji realized, as he noted the date circled in green ink on the small kitchen calendar, Zoro was a Scorpio. A water sign. Also a fixed sign, unlike the mutable quality of Sanji's own. That aspect lent him his stability. But they were, at heart, both water. Emotional men, whether they showed it or not. Driven by desire and belief.
And that, he mused, explained why, despite all the masculine posturing, they were so wonderfully, awfully, compatible.
Wait... Nami-san's sign was Cancer? ...♥
...how *do* you do those hearts, again? thanks!
(And because I couldn't help myself)
Irrefutable evidence that Sanji is Pwn'd, everytime. Poor Boy.
In mythology Pisces is often associated with Helen of Troy... ~ Wikipedia (apologies for lame quote)
