xneverux, who was going through some shit eariler this night.Also she wrote me these TWO supa drabbles too that I loved D:.
Shanks looked at his left ring finger for the 50th time in a 5 minute period. He did not, in fact, know why it was there or what it was for. On his finger was a red string tied in a neat little knot. Shanks knew that it was usually used to remind people not to forget something but he couldn't remember what this was for.
"Oi Ben...” asked Shanks, as he turned to his first mate, who was pre-occupied reading his newest novel on their bed.
"Hmm?" asked Ben not looking up.
"..Did you put this string on my finger?"
"Oh that string?"
"Yes this one.." said Shanks,sitting down on the bed to show his hand to Ben.
"That's.." asked Ben closing his book."That's a wedding ring."
"A what now?" blinked Shanks.
"Well not really.But it's more like a reminder that you and me should love each other everday, no matter what happens."
"Oh...Who thought of that?"
"You did.Last night in bed."
"Well that was smart of me!"
"Yes it was Shanks.." smiled Ben, placing his 'wedding' hand on his captain's head and scruffing his hair."That'll do Shanks.That'll do."
"Does this mean we can't have sex now?"
"...I can’t believe you said that…Why did I 'marry' you again?"
"Because you love me?" pouted Shanks, giving his kicked puppy dog look to Ben.
"Oh yeah...That and you look so cute in the after glow."
"Perv!" cried Shanks, failing and falling off the bed. “You’re a closet pervert Ben Beckman!”
"Oh am I?" smirked Ben going back to his book.
“Aren’t you at least going to finish me..?” whined Shanks still laying on the floor.
“In good time,” said Ben returning to his book. “I want to at least finish this chapter...”
“BEN YOU’RE MEAN!AND A PERV!”
“I love you too.”
