It was hot.

One of those miserable kind of days that stayed hot even after the sun was long gone.

Muggy. Humid.

One of those days where you feel exhausted whether you've actually done anything or not.

Which, by the way, he hadn't. At least not until now.

Laying half on top of Sanji, sticky, sweaty skin on skin, in the stuffy galley with the door shut probably wasn't helping the heat, but he was too worn out to move. Even Sanji's attempts to shove him off were half-hearted; his complains and sarcasm not quite up to their usual level of biting nastiness.

Not that it mattered-- he wasn't moving, and that was that.

I think the prose fits the mood very well and really leaves an impression. It fits together so nicely, that nothing-wasted-and-nothing-extra-either vibe.

I liked the topic too; but I'm not sure what happened this past week. I didn't get anything done. I'm boggled. Maybe it really is just summertime like X-Parrot says.

Eh. See it's just rainy and nasty here, lately. Just...lethargy-inducing weather that makes me not want to get out of bed or do much of anything, but not from heat...
