Well this is different. ^^;;
Jun. 17th, 2004 12:19 pmTitle: Any Minute
Pairing: Sanji + Zeff
Rating: G
Words: 151
Notes: I don't think I've ever written these two... and well, it's not -really- a pairing. But I think I kinda like it anyway... *shrugs* Read for yourself.
By all rights, he should have already been dead. Hair brittle and tangled, paper-thin skin, cheeks so sunken in one could almost see the outlines of each tooth. And though he only wanted to lie down and sleep, to sleep until he wasn't hungry anymore, he knew he wouldn't. Couldn't. That nasty old man was still alive. And Sanji wouldn't, couldn't let him win. He was determined, despite the haze of hunger and exhaustion that doubled his vision, to be the first to see the ship. The ship that would save them.
And then he would become the best cook on the ocean. Better than some stinking pirate. Meat and soup and bread and fish and fruit and he'd make the shitty geezer fat and lazy again.
Sanji forced his bleary, sunken gaze from the old man’s remaining leg and out instead to the sun-bright horizon. Any minute now… any minute.

Date: 2004-06-17 08:52 pm (UTC)btw, I hope you don't mind me friending you, I went to glance in your journal and liked what I saw, so. yep. *shrug* PLUS, I --finally-- got your handle. I am so slow sometimes. It's sad, because that's one of my favorite Python sketches of all time. I used to go around reciting it with a couple of my friends way back in high school *snickers*. I even did a Japanese version of it for a skit for Japanese class. Now that was... odd. ^^;;;

and friend away - not much going on there but hopeless fangirling, which is always more fun with company.!

I can tell you one thing--Sanji's certainly not going to be a compulsive smoker anymore.
.... *cries*
