Sorry to double post.
Jun. 29th, 2007 02:09 pmTitle: Our beloved Mother.
Pairing: Zoro/Sanji
Rating: Pg, only a little language.
W/C: 299
Topic: Villains (come in all forms)
A/N: Once again, sorry for double post, but I couldn't help it! A continuation from 'He's a good woman'.
Sanji had officially been declared the ships mother; he had inadvertently taken up the role of the disciplinary figure.
When Luffy was caught stealing cookies, it was Sanji who scolded him, with a pan to emphasise his words.
When Zoro stole the grog, it was Sanji who had to beat the green haired man with the pan and scream at him until his face turned puce, not to mention the barrage of kicks he added to reinforce his point.
When Usopp used one of Nami’s bikinis in one of his projectile experiments, it was Sanji who gave him a verbal rocket up the arse, and a pan to the head.
When Chopper used his napkin set for bandages, it was Sanji who had to give the reindeer a stern talking to, he didn’t have the heart to use the pan.
When Franky had started joining Zoro on his booze stealing runs, it was Sanji who hauled him over the coals with a well placed foot and the pan to the back of the head.
When Nami wouldn’t share out the treasure fairly when they made port-calls, it was Sanji they all whined at to plead with her to give them all that little bit extra.
When Robin had taken Zoro’s training spot as her reading place, it was Sanji who had to negotiate somewhere else for her to go.
And without fail it was always Sanji who had to play the villain to keep the peace.
He defeatedly accepted it when they all started saying “sorry mother, yes mother” whenever he had to keep them in line.
And the so called ‘father’ of the crew spent all of his time asleep or training, never helping with the ‘kids’.
It was time ‘father’ lended a hand ... 'mother dearest' needed a break.

Quoth 'father': "Here, mom, lemme take you down below and make you feel *aaaaaaall* better..."
Still not sure if the reply to that involves a frying pan to the head, shoeleather to the backside, an enthusiastic 'ohyesplease(you'reonbottomthistime)', or some combination thereof...
*giggles*

Date: 2007-06-29 03:11 pm (UTC)Quoth 'mother': "Not now dear, I have a headache" Cue Sanji rubbing his temples and squinting at that days laundry, muttering about boys and their perchant for attracting mud.
Sanji makes such a good mother ^^
