Thank God it was Friday. It had been a rough week for both of them, Zoro busy with his kendo classes and his job with the police and Kaku with the CP Company’s idea that it was he who had to do all the paperwork his team forgot to do. All week. So all it took was a phone call, a place to meet and the weekend would begin.
“Oi you’re late,” said Kaku waiting by the movie theater. “What took you so long?”
“Sorry. Johnny called me on my damn cell phone and I...” said Zoro stopping by him.
“You got lost,” sighed Kaku. “You live like 10 blocks away from this place.”
“Hey it’s not my fault Johnny called me. He wanted to know what to get Yosaku for his birthday,” said Zoro. “And that lunk has no notion of romance.”
Kaku snorted at this. “And you have a notion of romance? Remember what you got me for my birthday?Oh yes the so-called ‘back massager’ was really romantic.”
“OI! You said your back hurt all the time! It’s not my fault I got it from that shop on 6th street,” said Zoro. “Anyway what movie are we seeing?”
“I wanna see this new movie called ‘Evelyn.’”
“No way am I seeing a chick flick! Let’s see that new spy movie instead.”
“Can’t we see that next week? Please Zoro-kun?”
Zoro blushed and nodded, “...Fine...but can I have your hat? I don’t want anyone seeing me going in to that movie.”

“You are so evil,” groaned Zoro as he sipped his coffee at Blueno’s Café.
“Ah baby that hurts,” chuckled Kaku. “Come on it wasn’t that bad.”
“Yes it was.”
“Okay I’m sorry it was cheesy. But hey at least I’m coming over.”
“That makes this date a hella lot better.”
“See? I’m not evil. Just good looking”
“Uh huh.Sure.”
