Pairings: Zoro/Sanji, Luffy-->Sanji or Luffy-->Zoro implied.
Rating: PG-13
Comments: Luffy gives Sanji some advice.
Makoto's entry.
It wasn't hard to figure out what was happening between the two.
It was always there, a faint, underlying subtext in every single move they made, glaring out at him from beneath the shadows, taunting the younger man until he felt like he was going crazy.
He watched and watched and watched any interaction between the two, as if determined to find a fault, a slip-up in the amazing cover-up job they were doing, but he never found one.
Still, he couldn't pretend he didn't hear the noises they made at night, far away from him, but screaming in his head, tearing his mind apart, pounding in his ears and making him give his own small whimpers of pitiful desire.
He was jealous.
Jealous? The word didn't sound right to him, but it was.
How could he allow himself to feel jealousy, anyway? It wasn't something anyone would expect from him.
So he matched their farce with his own, smiling to them in the many mornings after, pretending he hadn't heard what he knew he had.
Breakfast was ready, and Zoro wasn't there, and Sanji looked like he hadn't gotten any sleep, and Luffy simply sat at the table, calling for his food, laughing and hugging Sanji tightly when he saw him. But Zoro's absense and the cook's drooping eyelids and stumbled walk were enough to push Luffy over the edge. As he left the table after empting his plate (and Usopp's, when the man hadn't been looking), Luffy leaned in towards Sanji, muttering a few words before retreating to his favourite perch to overlook the ocean.
Sanji's eyes widened and he almost dropped the plate he had been drying before he quickly collected his thoughts and continued his conversation with Nami-san, although there was a noticeable strain in his voice now.
"Next time, be a little more quiet, okay?"

Hoom, the captain's a human being after all, despite his outward superhuman strength (both physical and emotional), I also suspect he has his own weak moments.
Extremely well written, it is a pity I discovered it so late. It's curious, how the community has grown, and, had it been posted now, I'm sure it would have been flooded with approving comments ^^
Thanks dearly for sharing, and taking part in starting what the comm is now!
