ack, nearly forgot it was my turn! ^^; lots of great entries this week - I've always been partial to this sort of character observation, and there were a lot of lovely variations on it. Especially enjoyed the 3rd party of kinu's "Behind the Counter". And while Ace angst is just so...un-Acey, yosegaki brought an interesting angle to everyone's favorite aniki in "Captain's Brother".

But this week's prize goes to huabot for "Sooner Than You Think"...because the title is just perfect, and so is chibi-Luffy. Topic?

There's a part of me that recognizes Ace-angst as completely believeable. He's got these moments in the Alabasta arc where he just looks like he's really...well..angsting the whole time. Or mentally preoccpied, seeing as he's only there to be looking for Blackbeard, but...

well, he's definitely more thoughtful than most - probably helps that he is that little much older than the crew - but he doesn't seem the depressive sort to me - too much Luffy in him! But I can see him having such thoughts in passing. at any rate, I enjoyed the drabble ^_^
