Luffy knew he was going to meet someone special someday, someone strong and kind and smart (like all his Nakama rolled into one). And then he'd give them lots of meat just to show them how much he loved them.
Luffy tilted his head to the side in thought. Sanji gave him meat sometimes, maybe Sanji loved him? That would be sad for Zoro though, if Sanji loved him instead. He knew Zoro loved Sanji because they were always fighting with each other and Zoro really liked fighting so he must really like Sanji.
Luffy smiled, Zoro must be really silly if he thought he could hide how he felt from his captain. The smile slipped from his face and was replaced with a scowl when he remembered that Sanji loved him. Poor Zoro.
Luffy started to pick his nose and tried to figure away out of this mess.
He was knocked from his contemplation by a boot to the head.
"We've got too much," Sanji said simply setting a large plate of meat down in front Luffy. He started muttering something about idiotic swordsmen and overcompensating when they went hunting but Luffy wasn't really listening, choosing to stuff his mouth with food instead. It was a few moments before he remember that he should be fixing things.
"I'm sorry, Sanji," Luffy said at last chewing thoughtfully on a piece of meat.
Sanji gave him a stricken look. "There's something wrong with my cooking?" he asked reaching down to try some for himself, Luffy snatched it up before he could.
"Nuh uh, " he said quickly around a mouthful of food. "Only maybe you should give Zoro some meat too," he said before looking down at the empty plate. "Next time."
Sanji stared at him.
"Save some for me, though!"
